If you hold crypto on MEXC, you need to know three things before you move funds: how much the withdrawal costs, how much you can move per day, and whether your account is verified enough to send at all. This guide covers every deposit and withdrawal detail — fees, minimums, processing times, and the exact KYC tier you need for each limit — so you do not lose money on network fees or get stuck waiting for a transaction that never arrives.

Depositing on MEXC takes about two minutes if you have done it before. Here is the flow:

On the website: Log in, hover over “Wallets” in the top navigation, click “Deposit.” Select the cryptocurrency you want to deposit. MEXC will show you a deposit address and a QR code. Copy the address or scan the code from your external wallet.

On the app: Open the app, tap “Wallets” at the bottom, then “Deposit.” Pick your coin and network.

The step most people get wrong is network selection. MEXC supports multiple blockchains for the same token — USDT, for example, is available on ERC-20, TRC-20, BEP-20, Solana, and others. If you select TRC-20 on MEXC but send from an exchange using ERC-20, the funds will not arrive.

Double-check that the network on the sending side matches exactly what MEXC shows you.

Crypto deposits on MEXC are free. The exchange does not charge any fee for receiving funds.

What people sometimes miss is that the sending platform (another exchange or a wallet) may charge its own withdrawal fee. That fee has nothing to do with MEXC. If you are moving from Binance, Coinbase, or a self-custodial wallet, check their withdrawal fee separately.

Most cryptocurrencies have a minimum deposit. For Bitcoin, it is typically 0.001 BTC. For USDT on TRC-20, it is around 1 USDT. These numbers change slightly depending on network conditions, so always check the deposit page before sending.

If you send less than the minimum, the transaction will not be credited and cannot be refunded. This is not a MEXC-specific policy — most exchanges do the same thing to filter out dust transactions.

Deposit speed depends entirely on the blockchain you are using, not on MEXC. A USDT transfer on TRC-20 usually confirms in a few minutes. Bitcoin can take anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour when the mempool is congested. MEXC credits your account after a certain number of block confirmations — typically 1 to 2 for most networks.

If your deposit shows as “completed” on the blockchain but is not in your MEXC wallet, wait for more confirmations. If it has been over two hours, contact MEXC support with the transaction ID.

  1. Go to “Wallets” > “Withdraw.”
  2. Select the cryptocurrency.
  3. Choose “On-chain Withdrawal” (external address) or “MEXC User” (internal transfer).
  4. Enter the recipient address and select the network.
  5. Fill in the Memo/Tag if required (this is mandatory for tokens like XRP, EOS, and STELLAR).
  6. Enter the amount and click “Submit.”
  7. Confirm via email or 2FA.
  1. Tap “Wallets” > “Withdraw.”
  2. Select the crypto and choose “On-chain Withdrawal.”
  3. Paste the address, select the network, enter the amount.
  4. Confirm and wait for processing.

For internal transfers between MEXC users, enter the recipient’s email, phone number, or MEXC UID. Internal transfers are instant and have no fees.

Unlike deposits, withdrawals on MEXC are not free. The fee depends on which blockchain you use and current network congestion. These fees go to miners and validators, not to MEXC.

Here are approximate fees for common tokens as of mid-2026:

TokenNetworkApprox. Withdrawal Fee
BTCBitcoin0.0005 BTC
ETHEthereum0.0011 ETH
ETHBNB Smart Chain0.00013 ETH
USDTTRC-201 USDT
USDTERC-203–8 USDT
USDTBEP-200.2 USDT
USDTSolana0.05 USDT
XRPXRP Ledger0.25 XRP

The fee difference between networks for the same token is significant. Withdrawing USDT on ERC-20 can cost 15–40x more than on TRC-20 or BEP-20. Always pick the cheapest network that your destination wallet supports.

One thing to keep in mind: your receiving wallet must support the network you choose. If you send USDT on BEP-20 to a wallet that only reads ERC-20, recovery is difficult and sometimes impossible.

MEXC processes withdrawals in batches. The exchange reviews each request before broadcasting it to the blockchain. This usually takes a few minutes, but during high-traffic periods it can take longer.

After MEXC releases the transaction, the blockchain confirmation time takes over. On TRC-20, confirmations are almost instant. On Bitcoin, you may wait 30–60 minutes.

If you requested a withdrawal and it has been over an hour with no update:

  1. Check the withdrawal status in “Wallets” > “Withdrawal History.” If it says “Processing,” MEXC has not broadcast it yet. This is usually resolved within a few hours.
  2. If it says “Completed,” copy the transaction ID and look it up on a blockchain explorer. If the explorer shows the transaction exists, the funds are on-chain and the delay is on the receiving side.
  3. If the explorer shows nothing, the transaction was either not sent or stuck. Contact MEXC support with the withdrawal ID and transaction hash.

A common reason withdrawals get stuck: you did not complete the email or 2FA confirmation step. Check your inbox and spam folder.

MEXC uses a four-tier limit system. The higher your verification level, the more you can move per day.

Without any identity verification, the daily withdrawal limit is 10 BTC in crypto value. This is the same limit that has been in place since 2023. Some regions now also enforce a combined deposit and withdrawal cap of around 1,000 USDT for unverified users.

That said, MEXC announced in February 2026 that KYC verification is required for platform access. The policy is being rolled out gradually by region. As of mid-2026, some users can still operate without KYC, but this window is narrowing. Do not count on unverified access lasting indefinitely.

After submitting a government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID card), the limit increases to 80 BTC per day. This tier is enough for almost all individual traders.

Advanced verification adds a facial recognition step on top of the document upload. This raises the limit to 200 BTC daily and unlocks features like OTC trading, higher API rate limits, and exclusive promotions.

For businesses and high-volume traders, MEXC offers institutional verification with limits up to 400 BTC daily. This requires business registration documents, proof of address, and enhanced compliance checks.

  • Primary KYC: Passport, driver’s license, or national ID card. The document must be valid and not expired.
  • Advanced KYC: The same document plus a live facial scan.
  • Institutional KYC: Business registration certificate, proof of address for the entity, and ID documents for beneficial owners.

MEXC also runs checks against sanction lists and restricted jurisdictions. Users from the US, UK, and about 40 other countries and regions cannot access the platform at any verification level.

  • Log in and go to your account profile or security settings.
  • Click “Verification” or “KYC.”
  • Select your country of residence and document type.
  • Upload a clear photo of the document. The image must show all four corners and be readable.
  • For Advanced, complete the facial recognition step.
  • Wait for approval. This usually takes a few minutes but can take up to 48 hours during high volume.

Spot trading and perpetual futures up to 200x leverage are available without KYC on MEXC. You can deposit crypto, trade, and withdraw up to the 10 BTC daily limit.

Things that require KYC: fiat on-ramp (credit card, SEPA), the P2P marketplace, Launchpad participation, OTC desk, and lead copy trading (as a strategy provider).

If you want to withdraw more than 10 BTC per day or use fiat services, KYC is mandatory.

Does MEXC charge deposit fees?

No. All cryptocurrency deposits are free. The sending platform may charge its own withdrawal fee.

What is the MEXC daily withdrawal limit without KYC?

10 BTC in crypto value per day. Some regions also have a combined deposit/withdrawal cap of 1,000 USDT for unverified accounts.

How long does a MEXC withdrawal take?

MEXC reviews and broadcasts withdrawals within minutes in most cases. After broadcast, blockchain confirmation time varies by network — TRC-20 takes seconds, Bitcoin takes 10–60 minutes.

Why is my MEXC withdrawal not showing up?

Check the status in Withdrawal History. If “Processing,” wait. If “Completed,” look up the transaction hash on a blockchain explorer. If the explorer shows confirmed, the issue is on the receiving end.

Can I use MEXC without KYC in 2026?

Partially. Spot and futures trading remain accessible without KYC in most regions, with a withdrawal limit of 10 BTC daily. However, MEXC announced in February 2026 that KYC is now required for platform access, and this is being enforced region by region. Check your account status directly.

What network should I use for withdrawals?

The cheapest option that your destination wallet supports. For USDT, TRC-20 and BEP-20 are significantly cheaper than ERC-20. For ETH, BNB Smart Chain is cheaper than Ethereum mainnet.

Can US users trade on MEXC?

No. MEXC blocks users from the US, UK, and many other jurisdictions at signup and IP level.

MEXC keeps deposit and withdrawal simple when you know the rules — free deposits, network-specific withdrawal fees, and clear KYC tiers. The two mistakes I see most often are people picking the wrong network for a withdrawal (and overpaying in fees) and people sending to an address without checking that the network matches. Both are easy to avoid if you slow down and read the confirmation screen.
